Economic Development

Members of the Maxville & District Chamber of Commerce contribute to our community as event hosts, drivers of economic development, and enthusiastic promoters of Maxville as a commercial and tourist destination.

The Chamber hosts a number of annual events that attract visitors into the village of Maxville, including the Farmers’ Market,  summer sidewalk sale, and Santa Claus Parade. Learn more about our events.

We contribute to the beautification of Maxville with benches, waste bins, and colourful family tartan banners. We also arrange for the delivery of a welcome package to each new resident and business in our community.

Advocacy

To help sustain our community and its businesses, members of the Maxville Chamber of Commerce have been effective as advocates for the community, contributing for example to the campaign to save the Maxville Public School from closing, taking action to keep the Scotiabank open, and lobbying for municipal water service.
